What is Mistletoe?

Mistletoe boosts the immune system by multiplying and activating the immune cells and can induce apoptosis – the process of natural cell death – which can inhibit tumor growth. Mistletoe extract protects the DNA of immune cells and other healthy cells against damage caused by cytostatic drugs.

As a result, the side effects of chemotherapy can be reduced. Mistletoe therapy results in significant improvements in patients’ quality of life: the patients’ general well-being improves, as the immune system remains active and infections are prevented. Fatigue, particularly during and after chemotherapy, is less severe, and nausea during chemotherapy is reduced.

Benefits of Mistletoe IV Therapy for Cancer Treatment

Did you know that the liquid extract of the mistletoe plant has been used as an alternative method to treat cancer for close to a century? It is one of the most widely used complementary and alternative medicine therapies for cancer treatment in Europe.

Mistletoe IV can be used in malignant and non-malignant tumors for stimulation of bone marrow activity alongside conventional treatments to offset the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. It can be used to diminish tumor-related pain and reduce the risk of tumor recurrence while stimulating your immune system.

What is Salicinium?

Salicinium is a powerful phytonutrient that is derived from plants. and is effective in the treatment again bacteria, viruses, fungi, as well as cancer. It is often is used in conjunction with other natural or allopathic modalities, is non-toxic, and is normally taken either orally or intravenously.

Salicinium does not interfere with healthy cell development and there are no known side effects to taking it. Salicinium is used mostly by individuals who want to heal from cancer. There appears to be solid evidence that Salicinium can also be effective against bacteria, viruses, and fungi as well as conditions that can stem from them, such as Lyme’s Disease, Epstein-Barr, and herpes.

Salicinium targets anaerobic cancer cells. The composite Salicinium molecule will only affect anaerobic (cancer) cells destroying the enzymatic “cloak” which allows them to hide from the immune system. Circulating tumor cells are at the forefront of an ongoing or escalating malignant process.

Salicinium affects these cells first, therefore, contributing to halting the spread of malignancy. Continued use of Salicinium will allow the immune system to steadily attack remaining malignant cells. This therapy, whether I.V. or oral, should be continued without interruption until testing shows no further indicators of cancer. Salicinium is completely targeted- it will only enter anaerobic cells.

Salicinium IV Therapy for Cancer Treatment

Salicinium is an effective treatment for cancer patients, particularly for all types and stages of metastatic cancer.

Salicinium when infused intravenously works to treat cancer by four (4) mechanisms:

Glycolysis Impairment – It impairs glycolysis which is how the cancer cell obtains nutrition.

Apoptosis – It increases apoptosis which is programmed cancer cell death.

Nagalase – It increases GcMaf, a substance that digests Nagalase. Nagalase “cloaks” the cancer cell making it difficult for our body’s macrophages to recognize it.

Natural Killer Cells (NK) – Salicinium upregulates our body’s Natural Killer Cell activity.

Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) chelation therapy has long been utilized in alternative medicine to remove heavy metals and toxins from the body.

Recently, its potential application in the integrative management of cancer has attracted significant attention. This therapeutic approach, focusing on holistic patient care, is emerging as a beneficial complement to traditional cancer treatments. This paper aims to delve into the role of EDTA chelation therapy in holistic cancer treatment, examining its principles, therapeutic mechanism, potential benefits, and considerations.

Understanding EDTA Chelation Therapy

Chelation therapy involves the administration of chelating agents, substances capable of binding to heavy metals and other toxins within the body. EDTA is one such agent.

EDTA forms stable complexes or ‘chelates’ with metal ions upon administration, subsequently facilitating their excretion through the kidneys. This detoxification mechanism forms the basis of EDTA chelation therapy.

EDTA Chelation Therapy: Mechanism of Action

Detoxification and Reduction of Oxidative Stress

Many cancer patients have higher concentrations of heavy metals in their bodies, which may contribute to increased oxidative stress, a known driver of carcinogenesis.

By chelating these heavy metals, EDTA reduces oxidative stress, potentially inhibiting cancer cell growth and promoting overall health.

Anti-Angiogenic Properties

Another aspect of EDTA chelation therapy’s mechanism of action in cancer treatment involves its anti-angiogenic properties. Angiogenesis, forming new blood vessels, is a fundamental process in tumor growth and metastasis.

EDTA can chelate divalent cations like calcium and magnesium, essential for various enzymes involved in angiogenesis, potentially impeding tumor growth.

Benefits of EDTA Chelation Therapy in Holistic Cancer Treatment

When used as a part of an integrative treatment approach, EDTA chelation therapy can enhance overall therapeutic outcomes for cancer patients. The potential benefits extend beyond cancer cell targeting.

Reduced Side Effects of Conventional Therapies

By eliminating heavy metals and toxins, EDTA chelation therapy may help alleviate some side effects of conventional cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation. It could mitigate symptoms like fatigue, nausea, and cognitive difficulties, improving patients’ quality of life.

Potential Synergistic Effects

EDTA chelation therapy may have synergistic effects when used alongside other treatments. For example, reducing oxidative stress can enhance the effectiveness of specific chemotherapeutic agents and radiation therapy, potentially leading to better outcomes.

Improved Quality of Life

In line with the holistic focus of integrative cancer treatment, EDTA chelation therapy can help enhance patients’ overall well-being and quality of life.

By reducing the body’s toxic burden and alleviating treatment-associated side effects, patients may experience improved energy levels, mental clarity, and overall healtht.

What is Curcumin?

Curcumin is an anti-inflammatory component of the popular South Asian spice turmeric, which is a member of the ginger family. It is also a powerful anti-cancer agent that counteracts some of the initial processes in the body that lead to cancer, as well as the mechanisms that allow tumors to grow and cancer to spread.

Among its anti-cancer properties, curcumin interferes with the development of cancer stem cells, which are “baby” cancer cells that are not affected by traditional chemotherapy. It also enhances the effectiveness of certain types of chemotherapy when it is used prior to the therapy and disrupts the production of NF-kappa-b, an inflammatory chemical that is responsible for initiating the 12-year-long process that created cancer in the first place.

Many hundreds of clinical trials involving curcumin have revealed it to be as just as effective as pharmaceutical drugs for treating all kinds of cancers. At IAH Wellness, we have had extraordinary results from giving our patients curcumin intravenously.

For instance, one patient who had suffered from a rectal tumor for five years that had extended into her colon and caused her a lot of pain and uncomfortable bowel movements found that after just six treatments of IV curcumin, her pain dramatically diminished and her bowel movements normalized.

Taking curcumin intravenously is more beneficial than taking it by mouth since it bypasses the stomach, which means that 100% of it gets absorbed by the body. It also works better and more quickly when given intravenously, and your physician can give you higher doses than you would otherwise be able to tolerate.

Curcumin isn’t just beneficial for cancer, but also for any inflammatory condition. You can ask your doctor to order curcumin from a compounding pharmacy, which he or she can then give to you via IV. People generally experience no side effects as a result of doing IV curcumin therapy.

What is Ozone Therapy?

Ozone therapy is similar to oxygen therapy but has somewhat different effects on the body. Yet like oxygen, ozone is a well-established cancer treatment that helps the body to heal in a variety of ways: it causes cancer cells to self-destruct; increases oxygen delivery to the cells, tissues, and organs; detoxifies the blood; increases blood circulation throughout the body, and boosts the immune system.

Ozone is three atoms of oxygen attached together, or O3. The Oxygen you are breathing right now is two atoms of oxygen attached together, or O2. They seem similar, however, they have completely different effects on the human body.

Ozone therapy refers to the process of administering ozone gas into your body to treat a disease or wound. Ozone is three atoms of oxygen attached together, or O3. Research has found that ozone may be used to treat medical conditions by stimulating the immune system.

Ozone Therapy and Cancer Treatment

Cancer cells die when exposed to oxygen (cancer cells are anaerobic) Oxygen therapy through the blood involves removing part of the blood from the body, saturating this blood with oxygen (i.e. ozone–O3), then putting oxygen-rich blood back into the body.

Additional Benefits of Ozone Therapy for Cancer treatment include:

Increases oxygen delivery to the cells, tissues, and organs

Increases blood circulation throughout the body

Detoxifies the body

Boosts the immune system

Sterilizes and heals external wounds

How is Ozone Used Medically?

Ozone therapy can be administered in different ways, intravenous ozone therapy including vaginally and rectally.

When ozone contacts the bloodstream it breaks down into oxygen. We then put that oxygen-rich blood back into the patient’s body. Increasingly, integrative cancer clinics are doing ozone therapy as part of their patients’ treatment regimens. People generally experience no side effects from ozone.

Ozone therapy should only be used by professionals who have been fully trained in its use. The only contra-indications to ozone therapy are acute alcohol withdrawal, pregnancy, thyrotoxicosis, and acute heart attack.

Ozone treatments can be used in a variety of ways depending on the individual clinical situation. Dosages, methods of administration, and treatment intervals are important considerations in order to obtain the greatest benefit. The most common ways of administration are rectally or through the blood.

High Dosage Vitamin C for Cancer Treatment

Research has discovered the powerful anti-tumor agent of Vitamin C IV Therapy. High doses of vitamin C are selectively toxic to cancer cells, meaning the vitamin C fights cancer cells while leaving healthy tissue alone.

Dr. Mark Levine, an internationally acclaimed researcher at the National Institutes of Health, led a team of researchers to analyze the cancer-killing effect of high-dose vitamin C treatment. They discovered that after a high dose and rapid intravenous infusion of vitamin C, large concentrations of vitamin C react spontaneously with the molecular oxygen within tumors and generates large amounts of hydrogen peroxide, which is lethal to tumor cells.

Its anti-cancer benefit kills the cancer cells from the inside out by forming hydrogen peroxide based on the theory that cancer cells don’t have a catalase enzyme to break hydrogen peroxide. It boosts the immune system function, fights viruses, neutralizes bacterial toxins, removes toxic metals, and enhances the function of all organ systems. Protects cells from damage caused by free radicals. It is critical for healing many acute and chronic diseases.

Targeted Low Dose/Insulin Potentiation Therapy (TLD/IPT) is a non-conventional treatment protocol of cancer based upon the hypothesis that insulin may be used to potentiate the effectiveness of commonly used anti-cancer drugs. Because cancer cells have many more insulin receptors than healthy cells, when exposed to insulin, the cancer cells open these receptors and become more susceptible to low doses of chemotherapeutic agents. The chemotherapeutic agents are then given in much lower doses than in conventional therapies because of this insulin effect. IPT can also deliver chemotherapeutic drugs more frequently, also thought to allow a therapeutic impact, which can be augmented by a synchronic applied hyperthermia, while imparting fewer side effects and allowing patients a higher quality of life.

Conventional chemotherapy tends to flood the body with cytostatics so enough will enter the cancer cells to kill them. Each of our trillions of cells has a membrane, an outer skin, that protects it from toxins. Standard chemotherapy must be given in large enough doses to force penetration through that membrane.

TLD/IPT, however, penetrates easily through the cell membrane because it goes hand-in-hand with sugar (glucose). Cancer cells, unlike healthy cells, need lots of glucose as fuel. Without it, they die. The membrane of a cancer cell is designed to take in a lot more glucose than healthy cells. Cancer cells are equipped with many more insulin receptors. So, if we combine a small dose of chemo drugs with insulin, the cancer cell takes in the cytostatics together we the sugar, which is pushed into the cancer cells by insulin. Using insulin allows us to differentiate the cancer cells from the normal cells. This is a significant advantage. And since the cancer cells are loaded with sugar, they become acidified and become very sensitive to hyperthermia, so that this combination is almost lethal for all kinds of cancers.

As part of our approach to an integrative cancer support and treatment, we may offer, where it is appropriate, targeted low dose chemotherapy in combination with hyperthermia and other biological modulators like high dose vitamin C, phytonutriens like Curcuma, Artemisisn, Green Tea, Indol3Carbinol etc. With the patient’s involvement, assessing the risks and benefits, this promising therapy could change their life.

What are the benefits of Targeted Low Dose Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT)?

IPT in combination with hyperthermia can be very tough on tumors, while it is regarded by us to be more gentle for the patient. Patients generally may continue to live a normal lifestyle while being treated.

Using insulin allows us to differentiate the cancer cell population from the normal cell population. That means a lower dose of chemotherapy can be used and this is important since these drugs have considerable toxicity associated with them.

TLD/IPT reduces chemotherapy side effects in normal cells.

The so enhanced chemotherapy’s combined with hyperthermia kills cancer cells more effectively. A 1981 study found that using insulin increased the killing effect of the chemo drug methotrexate by a factor of 10,000, for example [1] and there are also numerous showing, that chemotherapy is augmented by heat.

This gentle treatment allows also the use of complementary therapies to strengthen the immune system, it is our body’s best natural defense against the return of cancer. This treatment costs significantly less than conventional cancer therapies.

TLD/IPT has been used for cancer worldwide since 1946; it has been used in the United States since 1997, hyperthermia is also FDA approved in combination with chemotherapy.

Understanding Insulin Potentiated Therapy (IPT)

Insulin Potentiated Therapy (IPT) is an innovative approach that enhances the efficacy of chemotherapy and targeted medications in cancer care. By utilizing insulin, IPT sensitizes cancer cells, making them more susceptible to the effects of these treatments and reducing their side effects.

The benefits of IPT in cancer treatment are numerous. First, it allows for the use of lower doses of chemotherapy drugs, minimizing the risk of toxicity and adverse effects. Second, it increases the effectiveness of targeted medications, making them more potent in attacking cancer cells. Third, it reduces the overall cost of treatment by using smaller doses of drugs. Finally, IPT can be used in combination with other holistic treatment modalities to provide comprehensive cancer care.

The IPT procedure involves the administration of insulin prior to chemotherapy or targeted medication. The insulin sensitizes the cancer cells, allowing for a smaller dose of the medication to be used. This not only reduces the risk of side effects but also enhances the effectiveness of the treatment, as the cancer cells are more susceptible to the medication.

Understanding Insulin Potentiated Therapy Benefits

Research has shown that IPT can be used to treat a wide range of cancers, including breast, lung, colon, prostate, and ovarian cancer. Patients who undergo IPT typically experience fewer side effects and better treatment outcomes than those who receive traditional chemotherapy alone. Furthermore, IPT has been shown to be effective in treating cancers that are resistant to traditional chemotherapy.

With its numerous benefits, IPT is rapidly gaining popularity as an alternative cancer treatment. At the IAH Wellness Clinic in Andorra, under the guidance of Dr. Wolfgang Renz and Dr. Pere Gascón, IPT is used in conjunction with various other holistic treatment modalities to provide comprehensive cancer care that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.

Integrating Low Dose Chemotherapy in IPT

Insulin Potentiated Therapy (IPT) is a unique treatment approach that combines insulin therapy with chemotherapy to enhance its efficacy and minimize side effects. One of the key components of IPT is the use of low-dose chemotherapy drugs.

The rationale behind using low doses of chemotherapy drugs is that they are more easily absorbed by cancer cells when combined with insulin. This means that lower doses can achieve the same effectiveness as higher doses, reducing the overall toxicity and side effects of the treatment.

IPT also allows for more frequent administration of low-dose chemotherapy, which can lead to a more sustained anti-tumor effect.

The Role of Insulin in IPT

Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas that assists in regulating blood glucose levels in the body. In Insulin Potentiated Therapy (IPT), insulin is utilized to sensitize cancer cells, making them more susceptible to the effects of chemotherapy and targeted medications. By administering insulin before chemotherapy drugs, the insulin receptors on the cancer cells are activated, allowing the drugs to more easily penetrate and attack the cancerous cells.

Additionally, insulin helps to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy by regulating blood sugar levels and supporting cellular metabolism. This allows for lower doses of chemotherapy drugs to be used, minimizing the damage to healthy cells and reducing the severity of adverse effects.

The use of insulin in cancer treatment is not a new concept, but IPT takes advantage of its natural properties to enhance the efficacy of other treatments. Through the synergistic effects of insulin and chemotherapy drugs, IPT offers a novel approach to cancer care with promising results.

The Efficacy of IPT in Cancer Treatment

Insulin Potentiated Therapy (IPT) has proven to be an effective treatment approach in cancer care, enhancing the efficacy of chemotherapy and targeted medications while minimizing their side effects.

Research has shown that IPT can improve patient response rates, leading to better overall treatment outcomes. This is because insulin sensitizes cancer cells, making them more susceptible to the effects of chemotherapy and targeted medications. As a result, lower doses of drugs can be administered, reducing the risk of adverse side effects.

Patients who have undergone IPT as part of their cancer treatment have reported positive experiences and outcomes, with many achieving remission and an improved quality of life. This success speaks to the efficacy of IPT as an alternative cancer treatment approach.

The Potential Side Effects of IPT

While Insulin Potentiated Therapy (IPT) has shown positive outcomes in cancer treatment, like any medical treatment, it does come with potential side effects. It’s important for patients to understand the possible risks associated with IPT before beginning treatment.

The most common side effects of IPT include fatigue, nausea, and vomiting. These symptoms are usually mild and subside shortly after the treatment. However, some patients may experience more severe side effects, such as a drop in blood sugar levels, which can lead to lightheadedness, dizziness, or loss of consciousness. In rare cases, allergic reactions to insulin may occur.

To minimize the risk of adverse effects, it is crucial that patients undergo IPT under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional. At IAH Wellness, our team closely monitors each patient’s reaction to IPT and takes proactive measures to mitigate potential side effects.

It’s important to note that while IPT may cause side effects, it has been shown to be less toxic than traditional chemotherapy. Furthermore, the integration of low dose chemotherapy in IPT can help further reduce the risk of side effects.

Research and Future Developments in Insulin Potentiated Therapy

Insulin Potentiated Therapy has garnered significant interest in recent years as an innovative treatment approach in cancer care. Ongoing research and clinical trials continue to explore the full potential of IPT as a safe and effective alternative cancer treatment with potentially fewer side effects than traditional chemotherapy.

One current area of focus in IPT research involves the use of targeted medications in conjunction with insulin. This combination may further enhance the efficacy of IPT and the overall outcomes for cancer patients.

Additionally, researchers are investigating the potential of IPT in treating other diseases beyond cancer, such as autoimmune disorders and chronic infections.

While there is still much to learn about Insulin Potentiated Therapy, the current research and advancements in the field demonstrate great promise for the future of alternative cancer treatment.

The Cost and Availability of Insulin Potentiated Therapy

One of the most significant considerations for patients considering Insulin Potentiated Therapy (IPT) is its cost and availability. While insurance coverage for IPT may vary, it is important to note that this treatment approach is generally considered an alternative cancer treatment, and as such, may not be covered by all insurance plans. Patients are advised to check with their insurance provider to determine if IPT is covered under their policy.

Additionally, the availability of IPT may be limited to select cancer treatment centers or facilities. Patients should research and inquire about the availability of IPT in their area and consider traveling to receive treatment if necessary.
